BMI Tracker

Track your BMI by adding a measurement each time you weigh yourself. The tracker works out your BMI, shows the change since last time, and draws the trend on a chart. It needs no account: everything is saved only in this browser, and you can export it to a spreadsheet at any time.

How to use it

  1. Enter your height once. The tracker remembers it, so next time you only need your weight.
  2. Add your weight and the date, then press Add measurement.
  3. Watch the trend. After two entries, a chart shows your BMI over time, with the healthy range shaded.
  4. Export to a CSV file to keep a copy or open it in Excel or Google Sheets.

How often to measure

Weight goes up and down by a few pounds from day to day with water, food and salt. Once a week, at the same time of day, is enough to see a real trend. Weigh yourself the same way each time. How to weigh yourself accurately.

About your privacy

Measurements are stored in your browser's local storage on this device. They're never sent to our server. That also means:

  • They won't appear on your other devices.
  • Clearing your browser data deletes them, so export a copy now and then.
  • Anyone using this browser on this device can see them.
